All of our snow has been going south since before Christmas. We've been cold so we still have our December snow sitting around. Well today we finally got some good Colorado snow. I figured smoking is the best snow-day activity I could think of. I'll be firing it up in an hour or so.

Smokers at 150 and climbing, prep is done. (chicken brining in the bucket)

Ribs and abt's are done and were great. I somehow screwed up the timing when I put the chicken and fattie on. They are still smokin and we had ribs for supper.

Once everything got done it was all tasty. Time to tuck the smoker away for the week!

Looks like everything turned out good.

Would you do anything different next time?

Go back to targeting everything done 90 min before it needs to be....getting overconfident

. It would have been nice to have the chicken/ribs/fattie combo, but ribs for supper are great and several meals past that are covered as well.

I tend to fill the smoker up and have lots of leftovers, the food calories/pounds of fuel ends up saving some bucks that way

Sounds like a good plan
