Just shut down and checked couple things. The heat exchange is level than the drip pan sits on top of that. What suppose to make it tilt? Here are some pics.
There is a lip that the tray sits on in the thermometer end. I didn't have mine up on it all the way a few weeks ago doing ribs. Dripped down between hopper and cc. Made a small mess.
I have the 700 and when seated, the left side of the drip pan is a little higher than the right. All grease slopes to the right and goes through the drain into the bucket. Is your meat inside the edges of the drip pan? If they are over the edges, then some may be missing the drip pan and getting into the barrel, therefore the leak.
I had it in backwards. They never should how to put insides in on video. I tried look for other and did not see. After reading at manual figured it out. Pic in manual does not show long side. Always something
Under the temp probe on the left sidewall, there is a ledge ( as shown in Winterrider's pic) that the drip pan sits on. If it is on it, it will not sit on the heat diffuser. It definitely should not be resting on it. I've had to adjust mine before...had the same thing happen as you did.

One other cause that does not apply to this issue as it has been diagnosed... I loaded my bull wall to wall and had some fat drip through the heat/smoke gap on the front and back and leaked out the same way...just a little. Now i try to keep the meat inside the drip pan width.
Well temp was off about 30 degrees from inkbird but with drip installed wrong gonna throw that out. Smoked alot more than I would of thought. Beef short ribs came out good. Brined ribs had funky flavor could not get pass. Regular back ribs took forever. After 7 hour they where only up to 175 degrees and just shut it down it was getting late. There is a learning curve with all new grills. Think going to like. Will give another shot next weekend. Got to clean up mess on patio than going to Sams to pick up couple bags of those smokehouse pellets.
