Price for prime rib (choice)

I found some for $6.99/lb. Not sure why they call it prime rib when it's choice, but it looks good.

Not sure if this is a good deal, bad deal, or normal deal.

Can anyone help?

That's a pretty good price for "Choice" Standing Rib Roast (AKA Prime Rib).

That's how much it is here right now. Then two weeks before Christmas it goes on sale for $5.99, and then the week before Christmas it goes to $4.99.
