I have not tried the Camp Chef ones but have used the Pit Boss and Traeger ones and can tell you that there is a world of difference using the cookingpellets or LumberJack brands, not only in the smoke but in the temp swings.
when you say a world of difference...meaning that the lumberjack pellets are better? I have used Traeger, but reading that Lumberjack are pretty good.

The LJ charhickry put out a bunch of smoke,I really like them for steaks but prefer hickory or competition for long smokes, I do mix the charhickory into the hickory to add a little more flavor ymmv

My experience has been that they are much better. Didn't even know there was a charhickory will have to check those out

Here is the current crop of flavors from Lumber Jack (Char Hickory is at the bottom of the list). I only use the Competition Blend (Maple/Hickory/Cherry).

Great. Now I've got 4 or 5 MORE things I have to buy! :-)

I saw the cayenne ones at field and streams B&M store. The other ones I've mostly seen at rural King. But there's a couple on there I've got to have now.

That rosemary thyme and basil one looks like it will be gooooood friends with my smoker and some fatty lamb ribs or a frenched rack in the future!

If all those flavors were available local I bet wife would dayvorce me pretty quick, she gets burned out with my smoking adventures lol
