I do not have a place to store a whole pallet.  I like the ease of the Yoder...but as the temps get warmer and I do longer cooks can see the offset being used more to cut cost.  My wood is free..Dad's place has lots of Oak..and have access to a Apple orchard that is clearing out old trees.

He will sell you pellets at almost pallet cost even by the bag. 

I'm buying Louisiana Grills Competition Blend for around $23 per 40lb bag. Thats around $.60/lb. 

He also carries alot of other brands, including BBQ Delight & Fast Eddies.

I know old Bob cooked next to (Smoke on Wheels at the Jack)  he was hangging with them..  Also have bought a couple of temp gauges for my pit from him...Good guy.
