Last month my youngest daughter got married to a fine young man. The whole day was kind of a blur and I'm really glad someone took pictures. Here are a few pics for your amusement. Should give you all a fair warning-she had a Celtic theme going and asked her daddy to walk her down the asile kilted. The kilt that I'm wearing is the Cameron Modern.

The photos are; my baby girl, the Bride and Groom, Daughter, MacDutch and Ma Dutch, MacDutch (from the side) and the pic of me from Saturdays Utah Scottish Festival and Highland Games.

Enjoy!

Congrats to your daughter and son-in-law..... By the way, the kilt works well for you; we want to see pics of you smoking in it on your next smoke !!!

Ain't going to happen with that kilt; it's too expensive to replace- maybe I'll get a pic of me standing next to the GOSM while wearing it.

I wish I felt like a young "lad". The racket my ol' bones make now at 50+ makes me wonder how I'll ever get any sleep when I'm 60+.

Congrats to the bride and groom

Dutch, I have made your beans, I have seen your posts..I am a newbe and feel very "green"..but I can say this with out any hesitation, your daughter is gourgeous, your wife lovely, and your legs...well now I know why you are a mod!! LMAO!! J/K what a beautiful family

Congratulations on such a festive event! Thanks for sharing the pics.

Congrats!

My next weight benchmark comes with a kilt! All I have to do is finish up the family tree research to figure out the tartan.

So, with all the tartan flying, will be seeing any recipes for Dutch's Smoked Haggis?

Nuttin wrong with a kilt (on occasion)! Picture this:

A US Army Sergeant in a "formal" kilt, the knee-highs, the immaculate dress uniform jacket and a Paratrooper's beret, honking the pipes to "Amazing Grace" at a fallen comrade's memorial service. Chilling and mesmerizing.

But back to you Dutch, congrats to the fine addition to your family - not losing a daughter........

Nice knees!

Back in the day, we was in the Phillipines, a group of The first of the sumtin er another Scotts came in fer trainin, pipes started a blowin an they marched off the plain wearin there finest kilts, after the march in, met a few in the bars, comments were made an the fight was on! Course when they found out I was of Scottish heritage all was well, never bought a drink when one er more of um was in the bar! Great bunch a blokes!

An dutch, someday yall have little ones ta spoil an send home ta momma an poppa! Them be the days!
