Just one of my favorite foods. Wings smoked on the Pit Boss w/a light smear of bourbon sauce. Don't know if I'll ever fry a wing again and I love fried wings, but these are so good and so easy. Clean up is a breeze too.

Yup I agree, since I started cooking wings on the kettle the deep-fryer has sat in the closet.

Great looking wings
Point for sure

Some nice looking wings. Nice job!
I have smoked a fair amount of wings, I think the quality of the chicken wings effects how the skins turns out.
I have far better results with the skin with fresh wings than Purdue and some other brand wings.

Skin wasn't quite perfect but oh so close.

Looking good
Thanks

They look real good!
Thank you

Nice job . What temp you cook at ? Right on the grill ?
Thanks, I do them on the grill, on the smoke setting for 30 minutes. Turn up to 250* for about an hour then sauce and crank the heat to 375* for about 15 minutes.

Those look great! What do you use/how do you make your bourbon sauce?
Thank you very much. I admit I cheat, making sauce just ain't my thing. I use Private Selection Kentucky Bourbon sauce. Only place I ever see it is at the local Kroger or Gerbes grocery stores. It's about $3 a bottle +/- a few cents.
