I Hate it.

Are you guys ready for the storm, I hope so.

This is either the second of third Nor'Easter blowing through the N.E, our area they are predicting from 6-10 to 8-12 inches of snow.

Hope everyone is bundled up, guess no happy smokes for most of us in the area this weekend

Good incentive to finish the ECB electric to propane mod I'm doing, pile up some snow right outside the door and fire it up!

Yuck!!!! Hang in there, Buddy........

We're sheltered between 2 systems right now. Beautiful 42* day, light winds and sunny.

Today thru Monday night sounds like good smokin' weather here, with no snow until Tuesday's forecast, so I think I'll be starting a packer this evening.

Eric

Calling for 18-24 inches here by sunday at 6 a.m.

I needed to use the 4 wheel drive anyways....Stores are crazy...

18-24 inches, WOW! Glad they aren't predicting that much for us.
Went to the store today, as you said-crazy out there, got some milk and took it home, opened it and it was funky so I had to run back out to get another.
Opened that one in the store though.

I'm ready for a little snow, and obviously the kids love it. Planned on smoking Saturday, but I had today off, so I fired up the BGE this morning instead. Put on a 10lb Butt & two JD Sage fatties. The Butt is getting close to temp. I fought off my son and convinced him that we should leave the fatties for breakfast. Should be some good eats before and after the kids venture out sledding and snow fort building.

Sounds great.I hope the forecast for our area is a bit high.I heard it on wbal after hearing 8-12 inches this morning....

Nothing like playing in the snow and then munching on some good Q...

Just spent an hour getting my elderly neighbors snow blower fixed...It sat 2 years with gas in tank...Just had to drop fuel bowl and spray/clean water out with ether...

You should start getting some flurries any time now I figure Alex, looked at the map and tip of the storm looks like it is about to hit Dover so we still have a couple hours.
Was supposed to start after midnight here but now they are saying around 10.

Damn I am glad I live in Kansas...

Here if you don't like the weather just wait 24 hrs and it will change...

Hope you guys back east make it through this Ok.

Alex - what a guy to fix the neighbor's snow blower. Points, man.

We actually had some snow here about a week ago. 1-2" maybe. Second year in a row Houston has had snow. Set a record. So much for global warming. Killed the tomato plants and Basil in the herb garden. Will replant all that.

Stay warm!

Sorry about the nasty weather you're having back east...man, I almost feel guilty doing a packer in the beautiful weather I'm having tonight.

But, my time will come, as it always does...probably sooner than I think...

Hang in there fellas!

Eric

Ready? No.
Snowblower is in the shed, not the garage.
Snow tires not on the cars yet.
Since the snows for the wife's van are mounted and ready to go they'll be put on tomorrow. The garage will be cleaned and the snowblower moved and prepped.
Only predicting 6" to 8" here.

So it's here...

A shot of outside and the back windshield of my car

Remembered I didn't cover my maple wood

Then saw the coverings of my 2 stacks of cherry had fallen off, I really need to secure them better.
I still don't feel like I warmed up.
Gonna wake up in 4 hours to check on things and begin shoveling snow, path from house to house and out to the road and mail box...

Here is the good morning view of my cookers. They were too hot to cover last night ......... now they have snow hats .......... I should go out and put some snowman eyes, noses, & hats on the BGE's so they look like humpty dumpty. With out measuring I'd say its over 12 inches here in So MD. Now the winds are really picking up.

Same here----1/2" of snow on deck (just started 1/2 hour ago).
Outside temp is 17.1 degrees.

You're more in the heart of it down there in MD. We are only supposed to get 3" to 6" today & 6" to 9" tonight. (that's 9" to 15")

Last time they said we'd get 1" to 3"-----we got 8".

It was almost gone!

My 27 year old Gravely/with blower is rarin' to go!
With the temps so low, this should be a dry snow----Mr. Gravely likes dry snows
