newbie rating

how and when does my rating move up the next level from newbie to ????
and what the deal with rep points ( green squares in the corner ) would like to know i guess...any info would be great...thanks

Hey oooops was going to say "hey freak"

. I'll use dr ..... :-).

There is a section soemwhere on the forum that explains thsi but i'll try.

The newbie status changes with the amount of post you do ( including replys)

The rep thing is if you like soemthing someone says you can give them rep points. In every post you'll see a set of scales in the top right corner area. Click on that and you can give someone rep points.

I think that is the gist of how it works.

I'm sure someone with more knowledge will correct me if i'm wrong
