Good morning to everyone. I'm new to the site, but it's already helped me become successful with smoking.

I have a Masterbuilt electric smoker that I got for my first Father's Day from Home Depot. I just got a new remote thermometer that's helping keep track of temps.

First smoke was an 8 lb. butt and some ribs, and everything came out great thanks to some tips from the site. The next smoke was a butt and some chicken wings, and since then I've done steaks and just did a turkey breast.

Hey neighbor. Greetings and welcome from Shelby Township.

With all the new bar-b-que joints opening up around Metro Detroit recently, you'll have a blast comparing your home smoked stuff to the big boys. Holler with any questions! Good luck and keep smokin'.
