Basically looking to turn this into a small charcoal grill for just a 1-2 steak deal ...Got some grill paint to give her a fresh coat .. im going to call her Lilly cause shes just a lil grill ....im not sure if u can tell by the picture that its leaning to the left quite a bit and I looked at the bolt down below and im not sure it can be tightened to str8en her out or not ....... I was thinking about mabye taking the grill off by the post and dumping a few bags of quick dry cement into like a home depot bucket and setting it in there ...also looking for some ideas on cleaning out the what looks like 10 years of gunk off the inside of this baby...
Any ideas would be great...

I have cleaned many o grill in my day, I worked for a small outfit that refurbished them. New burners and grates are readily available if need be. But to clean the best way to do it is to get oven cleaner and go to town, just heat the grill spray with oven cleaner and then hose it off. If the oven cleaner doesn't get it the first time use a wire wheel on a drill, then another dousing of the oven cleaner. Then use some paint, I think you need to use the paint made for bbq's because of the high heat of course and the reaction to the grease.
Good luck!

Yeah I have a can of the high heat bbq paint from the UDS's ive built but from what I understand you dont want the paint on the inside of the grill ? Thats what I was always told about when painting the UDS that it will season itself ?

Thanks for the tips also Ill grab some oven cleaner and give it a whirl, it does look just like caked on stuff .....
