I'm not sure. I've used them for years and never noticed (or cared to notice) an amp rating. I think they are typically engineered to meet or exceed the amp rating of the wire they are sized for. Yes they are thin but being so short they handle a lot of current.
The question is more about which wire burnt, where the wire burnt and why. At the heating element and possibly the high temp roll-out I strongly suggest the High temp ones. Elsewhere not so much. However they are the only ones I have on hand, so if I need them elsewhere I will use them. I have a few left over if you need some

Not real sure , it's the female side . Is it a amp rated thing ?

The connectors that masterbuilt uses are pretty cheap. If you have the opportunity use hi temp stainless steel 14-16 AWG female spade connectors to connect to the heating element and the safety rollout limit switch. The high temp stainless connectors will handle the heat and weather so much better so they won't corrode so easily like the cheap ones that come with your unit.

After the controller unit the crappy connectors used at the heating element and safety rollout limit switch seem to be the next biggest failure point on the MES. They just corrode away until you have a wire burn out situation and a failure.

Update: It won't go beyond 100F
How to fix?
If you sad what model you have I missed it , but you might want to check to see if you have the burnt wire like I did . I have a gen 1 30 . Small access door in the back . It was acting like yours before it quit yesterday . I'm thinking the wire was burnt , but the insulation was keeping it in place . It would shut off , but fire back up . Got to the point it melted thru and quit . UNPLUG BEFORE YOU OPEN IT UP .

I'm back in business . 2 high temp connectors ( had to use straights ) cleaned with sandpaper . Heat shrink the new spade to the wire , made the connection , and heat shrink the whole thing . I may be crazy , but seems to work better . You know , like after you wash your truck it rides nicer ?
Thanks for the info on the spade type and the spray .
