so I’ve been searching for a way to prevent my flame from being blown out on my Masterbuilt XL.
I’ve made wind guards and wind breaks but it never is enough.
I installed a pilot light (tee’d off the supply line before the smoker control valve) with the hopes it would relight the burner if the wind took it out but I lose the pilot light also so I’m back to searching for a fix.
I take it camping a lot and there is always a breeze that give me hell.
I’ve seen a few mods on here where they installed temp regulators from a stove or purchased parts to install but they were older posts and the links they provided for parts no longer work. And they don’t seem to be around anymore to answer some newbie questions.
But I ran across the MPS 330G smoker and want to know more about it.
Does anyone use it? How is it on windy days?
Thanks for any help.
