usally when i'm low on coal i make a trip to sams and stock up on kingsford briqetts get 220 lbs for 65$ do this 3 times a year 1 tripp gets me thru the cold months i just stocked up bout 2 weeks ago have about 11 bags went today with mama to stock up on burger and seen lump 4olbs for 16.29 so what the heck looked at mama she said give it a try.
just listening ta all ya master smokers i will try it

I too, tend to buy two to three times my expected useage for the weekend. Nothing worse than find your stash low, and not getting any when ya need it.
