Looking for indian butter chicken recipe

My wife wants to start messing around with some indian style cooking. This is something we are not at all familiar with. She tried a recipe she found on line for butter chicken and it was pretty good but after reading a bunch of other recipes I'm not sure what she made is anywhere close to the real deal....heck I dont even know if butter chicken is a real deal indian dish to start with! Like I said this is something we have never experienced at all..so I im looking for recommendations for an Indian style butter chicken...or something like that if its not the real deal. Would like to replicate something authintic if possible. I know someone will have some kind of info for me.

Thanks I'll check these out! We did use breasts which is not normal for us. I think next time we will stick with the thighs.

Those recipes look good. Butter chicken is by far one of my favorite Indian dishes. If you are a carb person definitely want some good rice and naan bread to go with it.

What rice? Ive seen a few served with a cilantro lime rice...are these flavors indian? Like I said I'm lost when it comes to Indian...as far as the naan goes the wife will have that covered.....she makes a killer naan !

We use brown basmati. We don't add any spices to it - just cook per directions.
