Kind of odd question on smoking

I've looked all over and can't find a answer.
Can you smoke on "Red air days"
We've had real bad air in Utah the last few days, I have a butt to smoke!
I know we can't use wood burning stoves/ heaters, but a smoker....?

Looks like I'm SOL til we get wind, snow, something....:mad:

don`t know what a red air day is but it would get mitey cold in my house if you can`t  use a wood burner i would have to get out of utah
