Thanks for the heads-up Kat.  I had to pull mine out of the drawer and check it, as I'm making a big batch of BDSE sauce tonight and planned to use it.

Mine is the Ball brand, so I'm good.

Recalled or not,those tongs are semi-dangerous. When I make jam, I sterilize quart mason jars. I have yet to make a batch of jam where I haven't dumped a bunch of boiling water on myself or dropped a jar back into the hot water. There should be a better way to retrieve the bottles. IMO
