Interesting Marinader

So I was at a bbq judging thing a few weekends back and noticed an one of the guys smoking there had an interesting marinader instead of a brush it was a handle with no bristles, instead it was chain mail. I have searched and searched online for this and no luck. Just wondering has anyone seen this before?

I never flip my meat..Just put it in one way and pull it out the same way...
