I have a couple questions here.

Has anyone used some sort of a board insulation that is in some way glued or attached to the walls on a vertical smoker? I tried the hot water heater insulation but it's just too messy. I figure there is someone out there that has tried board insulation. Any ideas where I can order it from? I just want something neater and less messy than loose insulation.

Also, what about the black coating that goes on many different types of grills? I have a side fire box grill that I left outside and it started to rust out. Is there a coating I can buy, then sand and apply?
