I keep my Maverick and all the probes in a gallon size zip lock bag. I keep this in a deck box along with all of my other BBQ tools and toys. This deck box stays really dry as I also keep my charcoal in there that I use for starting my wood.
I keep my Maverick and BBQGuru stuff on a workbench in my basement. I prefer not to coil up the probes so I won't get kinks that might lead to failure. My basement must be the driest in North America and I've even thought about putting a humidifier down there. No complaints at all, since many folks have to use sump pumps to get the water out.
