I use 3 to 5 cloves per quart mason jar (12 eggs) when I do my 'Cajun Style Smoked Pickled Eggs'!...

DANG those things are good!!...but...ya gotta be careful with'em though...

The 'after-effects' are...well...um...rather aromatic!!...

Somewhere in my many recipes I have one called Chicken and 40 cloves. Had it at the Stinking Rose in San Fran and had to look up the recipe when I got home. Dang thing is Ma Dutch won't let me fix it in the house-have to do it outside in the dutch ovens.

I've got a daughter that gives be grief when I use garlic-even though I increase the amount called for, she complains that there's not enough garlic. Now with onions to her a little bit is too much! Go figure!
