Hello Good People of SMF!

It's Friday, we're gonna throw some oysters on the CHEAP grill later on and then heat up some chicken with a touch of Treet sauce.

Tomorrow - smoking two whole chickens for the first time, may spatchcock one...

Two weekends ago - smoked a Boston Butt and it was YUMMY, I'll post any pics I can find and a basic recipe/method

Last weekend - smoked three Boston Butts and it was good, some was even real good, but that lil ole Char Broil was groaning from the weight and packed a bit too tight...

That profile pic is of me and my buddies cooking up bacon and snickers pancakes around the campfire, up in the hills west of Boone.  It sure was tough not eating that snickers bar the night before...

The other pic I have now is me messing around cooking up some Carolina Treet on my Great Grandma's old iron skillet, just to show it could be done!

Well, time to go run the dog around the yard and start setting up the grill for later..
