Hi there. I've been lurking on here for a while now and figured it was time to dive in.
A bit about myself. I work in the produce industry in Central California. (Recently moved from South Florida)
Started off with a trash can smoker with a smokey joe as a firebox. (worked great too!) Then went to a cabinet smoker. I gave them both to my daughter and new son-in-law when I left Florida.
Came out to here and picked up a CharBroil Offset smoker. I thought I could plug the leaks on it but just didn't work out. So, I just assembled my fresh-from-the-mail 22" WSM. I've got a couple of fatties on there now. Watching the temp from the comfort of my man-cave using my Maverick ET-732. (Man that thing is great!!)
I want to thank everyone on here for already providing me with a ton of advice. Hoping to learn more in the future. (and maybe even contribute eventually)
