My sister wants me to smoke a 5 lb turkey loaf for her husbands birthday. She gave it to me frozen today. His party is Friday night. Any suggestions on how i should do this? I have only done breast and whole turkes. Do I brine it??
Charlie, nothing to brine here. De thaw it, put it in a foil loaf pan and smoke it at least 250 -275...it'll have plenty of time to pick up some smoke and cook it to 165 IT.
