Hey everybody here's my 1st Hot Smoked Salmon.  I have a long way to go but this turned out awesome & looking forward to the more "technical" smokes that are ahead of me!

Quick Pepper, Salt & light lemon juice(didnt have fresh lemons on hand).  Put in fridge for a couple hours.  Put on smoker at 150 with good Applewood smoke rolling.  At 1.5 hrs in basted with a 1/2 stick of butter & a good "wob" of honey mixture.  After 3 hours fish temp was 145.  Pulled & foiled for 15 minutes to let rest. I know it was a quick Hot Smoke but my wife & I were very pleased with the outcome & look forward to many more smokes ahead.  Thanks to everybody for their posts & ideas & being so great to a newcomer, THIS PLACE ROCKS!!  !
