I guess this is the place to introduce ones self. From Texas here, really starting to enjoy my smoker, since after twenty years of fighting temperature control I think I have figured it out. I use a Lyfe Tyme side box smoker that I have modified with a gas burner in the fire box that allows me to control the heat in the cooking side at a temp. anywhere I want usually between 200-260 deg. But I am always open for tips on how to do it better, Thanks for letting me join this "information source from Hell".
