heads up on a sale,,, I think

I'm newer than a newbie, a newnewbie?  I was looking at the Sam's club web page at the case sales meat and I'm seeing a green banner at the top of the page,

Summer Savings   |   One Day Only, May 13   |   Online starting 12:01 am EST & in club 7 am

Does this mean a price reduction from the listed price on the page?  Also this is listed,

Club Pickup orders are based on your club’s current price and item availability on the day of payment.

So, if I order up my meat but plan it for pickup on the "one day only", day,,, Yeah, I don't know this stuff at all.

Can anyone help me with some enlightenment? 

This is from a web site page for a store in Las Vegas, Nv.

I am a club member who uses their "click n pull" or Sam's club online ordering system quite a bit. if you aren't familiar, its like you order your items online and then in a day to week (whenever you say you are going to pick it up) you show up and your stuff is ready for  you to go. no shopping or impulse buys or anything. we do it all the time to get what we need but keep the order under budget.

Usually when something is on sale you have to pick up your order in that sale window to receive the discount for that item. Im guessing with the met on sale one day you would have to pick up in club on that day to receive the sale price.

You also can order and have items shipped to your door but often the price is a little different and there is less discounted things.

I was planning on get some meats anyway but, if I can get it on sale

I have no problem ordering on-line and then pick-up on the day of the sale!

Looks like my little freezer is gonna be full come May 13th.

A full freezer should last me all summer,,, and then some.

I should start looking for a sale on pellets now.

I hear A-Maze-N makes really good pellets but the cheapest i have found around here was a Walmart. i found a 20# bag of pellets (hickory) for $8 and change. 

the only thing better than a full freezer of meat is a full smoker of meat!
