Read about this in a previous post, and being the wing fanatic that I have recently become, I couldn't pass it up.

It consists of an orange marmalade, honey, sriracha, and brown sugar glaze that you dip your wings into, and return to the grill/smoker during the last 20-30 mins of grillin/smokin. Here's the recipe, and my progress Qview below:

Oh - by the way - that brew in the pic is Svyturas Baltic Unfiltered Wheat (hefeweizen). Very tasty.

Cut up the wings in sections, and rubbed with EVOO, lawrys, and some BP. Had a leftover sweet tater, corn, and some jalapenos:

Lookin' good so far! Can't wait to see plated pics

Man, oh man - just couldn't get enough of these! Perfect balance of sweet and hot. Made a small batch for the wife without the Sriracha, and we both loved em.

Used the leftover glaze on the sweet potato and corn - good theme. Definitely going to make these again and again, maybe next time with a buttermilk soak.

After an hour indirect at 300:

Soaking in the glaze:

All plated up:

Thx for checking out the Q

Very nice looking wings there! Did you throw them back on the grill once they were glazed to get them a little crispier?

Yes I did - I threw them back on the grill to carmelize.

Word of caution - it was 30 degrees this day and the honey actually make the wings a little harder than I hoped for, but still delicious.

that was great ! I am full after viewing this thread..lol..just sounds delicious..
