I just watched an episode of bbq with Franklin ,where he ate a ribeye cooked by some old timer in Texas that has been building wood fires inside of galvanized wash tubs and feeding people for generations as a chuck wagon master beef cook. Lol.. But anyway.. the guy builds a wood fire in a well used #3 galvanized steel tub.. and cooks up some good steaks over a roaring hot fire in that tub. He and the show host ( Franklin) both chow down on that ribeye. So... Galvanized worry warts? Don't worry to much.. the exposure guides are for people in that industry cutting and welding in fumes on daily basis.. in contact with that product constantly.. not dangerous for a sniff or 2 once a week or at under welder temps for a few minutes..
