I got an email today from Fruita Wood, a top notch flavor wood supplier from Fruita, Colorado. A favorite with intermountain BBQ competitors and backyard cooks alike. I thought they went out of business, but maybe they are back??

For years, a group of us took turns making group orders, so this is good news. Excellent quality, perfect moisture content, bark removed for no charge and free shipping with a minimum order. I sent them an email, so I'll update this post....

Far as I knew they never went out of business. They are just down the road from me. They had some struggles and moved locations but they are still there in Grand Junction, Co. I bought my Yoder from them back in ‘17 after that their Yoder dealership was stripped, went to ATQ (all things bbq) in Denver. Was total bs by the way but that’s how it goes. I haven’t been to the new location yet but was at the old location many times.
