Saw a guy on YouTube do this and thought I’d give it a try. I’m a pretty big fan of thin crispy crust so it kinda sounded promising.
Grated a block of whole milk mozzarella and prepped a few toppings. The wife went pork sausage, mushroom, and red sauce. I went with chicken, bacon, spinach, and an Alfredo sauce. We let the kids throw whatever they wanted on theirs and off to the Masterbuilt gravity set to 400. Tried some on the pizza stone and some on upper rack. They both came out crispy and were actually pretty good. I guess the only complaint about the whole cook was when doing the chicken and bacon on the 560 I had an inferno of a grease fire that had to burn itself out. May have to check on some kind of vent mod so I can smother out grease fires when doing higher temp cooks.
