Just returned from my local Ace Hardware store. They sell Traeger Smokers (pellet)....I was looking on their shelf at the supply of different kinds of wood pellets and notice that the had both "Onion" and "Garlic" pellets. Has anyone used these before??? Can't imagine what the flavor comes out like....okay...onion and garlic...right? Daaa!! ....didn't know they had onion and garlic sawdust to make pellets with. Wonder what kind of wood they flavor? RICK

I use a hickory pellet flavored with rosemary, thyme and sage from BBQ Delight that is awesome on poultry and loin. Don't know exactly how they do it but it is delicious and comes through with the smoke.

I just got a email from a trager rep and I asked about their pellets. He told me if it is apple pellets its 100%a apple wood and so on with other flavors. As to onion and garlic they might be adding onion plant to wood. Ill send them a nother email asking about these 2. I've also tried olive wood chunks and they are great on lamb and pork...
