I have a Hondo stick burner that I recently added a baffle to the firebox/chamber opening at a 45 degree angle to help the heat flow to the opposite end. My problem has been at times in this West Texas wind that I will get bad flare ups from a new log catching or the wind changing on me since I always leave the firebox door open. Many a ribs have been toasted due to this problem. Anything I can do to combat this issue?
