Flame Boss 300 problem

I have a Flame Boss 300, purchased about 18 months ago..all the updates are current...but when I plug in the meat probe it reads max temp 425 and beeps...when I plug in the grill probe it reads 617 degrees...the device is just sitting on my kitchen counter so I know it’s not 617 degrees in my house.

I’ve researched this and cannot find anything on the web about it. I did a factory reset, and same thing happens. I even purchased new probes thinking they were the problem.

Anyone have any idea if it’s salvageable?

Contact Flame Boss support... I had a different issue with mine.. They sent me a label to return it ..They fixed it and sent it back all at no cost.... Give it a shot.
