Its the maiden voyage for my new smoker so I thought I would try some hamburgers. Heard a lot of people say that smoked burgers are good. Had to get a little creative with my temp probes as I have not made a permanent modification to allow me to run the cords through the side of the smoker.

I love smoked burgers. Usually I'll take them to a medium rare temp and then toss them on a hot grill to sear them at the end and give 'em a little more temp. Here's a pic of some sliders I did with a high school kid a couple of months back.

I really liked smoked burgers.

FWIW, I smoke SPAM too. I slice a wad into 8 slices and add rub to each slice.

I run 2 wood skewers through them and gap them before placing them on the grate. The skewers keep them together pretty good.

Those burgers look mighty fine. If your a burger fan give the beer-can burger a search. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
