So i bought a Electric brinkmann last night. i got it seasoned up and made up some rub and a sauce. Then today I lit/plugged(im new to the electric smoker deal lol) her up at 2 pm and the legs where done around 5pm and the whole bird is smoking away. i dont think the legs turned out to bad for the first trip. they had good taste, the meat was really tender and juicy but the skin was a little tough. the whole birds getting real close to being done.

forgive the fake snow on the windows lol

the whole bird is getting close

Yep, you have to get the temps in the smoker up to the 300 to 325º range to crisp up the skin.

Nice and juicy.

Nope, always smoke first, then grill. And by grilling I mean move them to a hot charcoal or gas grill. The pores in the meat usually start shutting up around 140º internal and smoke will not be accepted internally into the meat, so do your smoke, then grill.
