Well, its been a very long time but my build is almost complete. Just need to put some vents in the side, and temp gauges in the doors, and should be good to go. Ive already put some heat into it to check for leaks, and it didnt disappoint. Now I just have to find a way to control it somehow, but the venting should help. Since I separated it into 2 chambers (side by side), should I build a firebox on one side of it for cold smoking? Any ideas? Or should I keep it the way it is, and have 2 different heat sources? Ex. Charcoal and electric. Any Ideas weould be greatly welcomed.

kuch, morning......  For cold smoking, you probably could get by with a small electric hot plate.... all you need is a temperature of 50-70 degrees..... Higher temps than that could cause the fat to run is some meats... salmon especially.....  cheese likes cold also....

For a smoke source have you considered the AMNPS available from a member on the forum ??   It is a great smoke generator... I would say the best...
