just kiddin, and i Basterdised the heck outa it!!!

Had no Chimney starter?!? so i used the coped flue from my Double barrel build for that !!!!

didnt have any lump charcoal either OOPS!!!!!

so set 6in flue in center of 22.5 weber kettle got a sac hickory from the Depot piled half

3/8th a sac round the "lol chimney" then took In and Out bad 4 sheets 8.5x11 white paper

and set that sucker on fire. it spiked to 300+ then settled down closed bottom air intake

to only open a 1/8in top open wide stuck temp probe down hole estimated overage from grate

and held 220 to 230 since 4pm !!!! im utterly amazed doing ribs 3-2-1 method its 8.15. still holding!!!

I don't have a chimney at all and I have great succes starting my lump or brikets with my charcoal iron. I just remove my basket from my UDS and put it beside the garage where the power outlet is and then I stick the iron in the basket and let it light. I have learned to remove the iron once it gets going and then bring my fire up to temp in my UDS where I can regulate the heat. It is hard to bring your temps down if you get too big of a fire going.

this is the best fires i ever tended decently fast it settled down to temps and a nice thin pleasent smoke I EFFIN DID IT !!!! and it still goin!!!!
