Smoking drumsticks for first time tomorrow and when trying something new I come here for tips first.

Want to make sure 1.5 hrs at 290-300 is the right time and temp?

When I smoke wings I usually toss em on the grill to finish off and was planning to do the same to avoid rubbery skin.

Never have brined, worth it with drumsticks? Didn't have issue with dryness w wings

Thanks

Make sure to cook by temp not time. Make sure they reach 165*. 1.5 hours should be long enough but double check with a reliable thermometer. I wouldn't worry about them drying out on you.
