I have a CG DUO and love it. Last week smoked a butt & as we speak smoking a chicken. Found a CG Akorn new for $150 never used! Would that be a good 2nd dedicated smoker? I know nothing about it so please guys let it rip, tell me if I should buy it or stay content with my duo until I step into a bigger better setup.

Ultimately I would like my next smoker to be a set and forget setup, or at least more so than a SFB like the Duo that needs to be babysat.

Yes, 150 is a good price ... i am sure when you go and see it .. you can probably get for for 140 or so ... so take different increments of money ... whats cool qbout it is it willget real good hot temps for steaks ...  a buddy of mine cooks 1 inch thick elk steaks on his and likes it alot ....
