I bought a campchef dlx 24.
Smoked brisket, ribs, chicken etc. I’m having terrible temp swings and using a fire board thermometer. Only way to really help with the temp swings and regulate the temp to keep a decent average has been using a water pan. Any idea how to fix this?

I talked to CampChef about my excessive temperature swings and they suggested that their engineers have had some success with a slightly re-engineered burn cup. They sent me a new cup and .pdf instructions on how to swap it in. Not easy, but it's in there now. We'll see if it helps.
