First was the Bubba Keg, then the Big Steel Keg, and now it has evolved into the Broil King Keg.
I've had it for about 2.5 months and I find it cooks just like a Big Green Egg. It's very frugal with lump charcoal and no water needed. It weighs around 145 lbs.
Reason for selling it is that our BBQ team needs to add a 22.5 inch WSM and a 26" kettle to the lineup. The Broil King Keg sells for $899 on Amazon. It's the exact one I have. I also have the plate setter from a large Big Green Egg that I use in it for indirect smoking. That is included in the price as well as the ash tool.
I have pictures of it as well as pictures of food I cooked on it if you're interested. I live in Lafayette LA.
Price for everything is $600.
I would be willing to trade for some of the Weber stuff I need or if you have a smoker, let me know what you have.
