Evening all,

While I put my plan together for my trailer mounted masterpiece......I am left making lemonade out of lemons with the little guy that started this addiction.

As most of you know that have this little guy, temp control can be frustrating to say the least. I am making a baffle and plate made from 1/4" metal with tapering holes running down the length of the plate as I saw in another post. Hopefully this works favorably for me as it did for the original poster of this concept. At the FB side, holes will start out at 1/8" and at the end (chimney side) be 1.5" thick.

Here is my idea, what are the chances of making this a dual purposed rig and turn it into a RF as well, being able to take out the RF plate and substitute the plate with all the holes drilled in mainly for experimenting purposes.

I understand at the FB side, I will need to install a new exhaust, but just wanted some input from all of you experienced builders out there. The FB is 19x15 and the CC is 18x36. How far do I stop my RF plate, and how big of exhaust do I need to put in. Also, with the exhaust, should it come to grate level, or should it just be flush with the top of the lid.
