I haven't smoked in weeks, wife put me on a mission to clear out the freezer bite by bite. I got the job done and now its time to fire it up.

Its been rainy for days. I figured I'd just put an umbrella over the smoker and have at it. Unfortunately, the wind started to come up today. It prevented me from getting it started easily and it kept trying to suck my umbrella off the deck.

Now I'm out of smoked food and I have to eat 'regular' food. To make matters worse, raw ABT's, ribs, and other items are mocking me from the fridge.

I feel your pain. It's supposed to rain all weekend here so I probably won't be able to smoke anything.

Be sure and point out to the wife this is what happens when you do not smoke on a regular basis; rotating freezer stock always keeps smoked goodies in the freezer for the rainy days !!!

The wind died down enough that my umbrella will stay put, I just fired it up, hopefully the wind doesn't come back. I don't want to finsh in teh oven.
