My son, Jeremy, turned 30 yrs old yesterday. He said he wanted steak for his birthday. Who am I to say no. Got some ribeyes for me and him. Lesa and Amanda, his wife, wanted filets. Also got one for Bryce our youngest son.
Little worsty sauce, kosher salt, and coarse black pepper. Let em sot on the fridge for a couple of hours.

had the Inkbird Inkbird monitoring them in the smoker. A little maple for flavor and 225 degrees til almost at the IT where everyone wanted them. Then onto the Weber Kettle for a final sear. Had oven roasted garlic herb potatoes and a salad to round it out.

Turned out good and everyone left full. Jeremy said it was the best birthday meal of three that he had. Thanks for looking.

I'll take a ribeye over a fillet every time, nice piece of work Jim, Like, I've got a bunch of fillet steaks in my freezer that I'll be working on getting rid of ASAP, then it's only ribeyes and T-bones for me. RAY

Looks good Jim. Been doing Ribeyes a little more than usual lately. The Mrs. only like Filets, and I prefer NY Strips, with Ribeyes next in line. Great job.
Happy B'day to your oldest too.
