Nebraska - Go Big Red!
Check out my Tumblr all day to day for updates on my big vacation smoke I am doing today. Lots of Picks. I will put them up on this post later today or tomorrow as well.

Second I had a question about freezing meat. Has anyone ever tried freezing Baby back ribs for a later date? I have seen people do Pulled pork and Brisket but I was not sure if you could put a rack of Baby Backs in a vaccume sealed bag to heat back up later. and if you did do you put them in there as one big slab or do yu cut them up and freeze them that way? Any advice would be great.

I've removed the bones, and vacuum sealed the meat mixed with a little sauce to preserve moisture.  I re-heated the entire bag in boiilng water, and it was good for sandwiches, nachos, etc. after a couple of weeks in the refrigerator/freezer.

Never had occasion to try to save a whole rack, they simpy don't last that long at home.

Good luck!

I wrap up racks and freeze them all the time.  When you want to reheat, make sure they are completely thawed, wrap them in foil with a little extra sauce, heat in the oven at 225* for an hour.  They come out great!

I do this usually in late fall so that we can eat all winter and not have to struggle with temp in January!!  Last time I did 9 racks in late November......They were gone in December!!  So much for planning ahead.
