Made it out of 1.5” 1/8” aluminum tubing. Used cherry that I milled with my chainsaws in 2023 and one piece in about 2019, I cut a inch off that slab and then flattened it, did the some with the cutting board that one started out little thinner with a 3” slab, decided to use 1.250” thick for cutting board, not going to cut on it tho more for holding a bucket, I got the aluminum for 1$ per pound from a guy moving to the east coat so made the cart frame for about 15$ the 1/8” top cost me like over double that since it was 3.75$ a pound at a metal yard , metal is getting way way way to expensive

I haven't tig in many years, but never got a rounded bead as that. always more of a puddle.
Stitch gun on the other hand always make a big puffy bead.
This bead is pretty flat not puffed up or it would look cold rolled.

You can add your welding if you u like, I don’t mind, my tig welding is very rusty right now , I only tig weld a few times a year now unfortunately, mostly mig welding at work at the shipyard running flux core and some stick

I have been pondering getting a scratch start tig set up to fool around with and at least have some capacity to do aluminum.
