Adding seasoning?

If im going to smoke my chicken after marinading and than oven bake it to crisp the skin when should i add my seasonings after marinading or after smoking?? Please give your opinion.

Apply any rub or seasoning after the marinade. Once the chicken is smoked, it's already cooked.
