    Spread your chips out let them dry up in the sun, they will be fine. Just don't let them sit in a pile...they will mold up quickly.

    things I've learned with my smoker. I need to get my chips further away from my fire. They flame up and burn and send the temp sky high. I need a thermometer that works. They one on my grill ain't even close.

    I going out on a limb, and say my temp is off a lot. Just check the meat temp... it's 120 :( I'm sure it's still going to be yummy...just done a lot sooner than I thought.

    Hello! I'm Jay, I'm a griller. I just got my very first smoker. It was on sale for 80$ figure I'd take a chance. I got a Masterbuilt Sportsman Elite gas smoker. I've started my first smoke today. Pork sirloin roast, run and cherry wood. Wish me luck!
