    JD4JC that is awsome.  I have the same setup on my smoker and the cold box is wably by itself.  You should market that.  I will have to try to make that.  I have tried pellets in my MB cold smoker and they work great but leave a lot of resin on the inside.  Have you tried pellets?

    timbejet, I have smoked a couple of batches so far and have left the skin on. Do you have advice on the benefits of either way?

    Thanks, this group has been great. I have smoked turkey breast, pork loin, ribs and fatties so far and the tips I read here make it easy.  I just got my AMNPS this week and want to try some jerky and a third attempt at salmon.  I didn't list them before because I didn't think they turned out...

    I ordered the tray and they called me the next day and recommended that I switch to the pipe based on my altitude.  It was $5 less than the tray so they sent an extra bay of pellets to make up the difference.  They are great to work with.

    Robdog How long will the smoker put out smoke before you have to refill and are you using wet or dry chips?  Was thinking about getting one so I didn't have to add chips so often but this discussion on amazen has been enlightening.

    Hopefully this goes to themule69, In conversations with a long time smoker at work he contends that he does wonderful with wrapping meats in foil and poking some holes in it and that the smoking process only happens in the first 30 to 60 minutes.  Wanted your advice but I am cutting a pork loin...
